Australian Open Final 2025: A Weekend of Great Tennis

|

This weekend, the tennis world is preparing for a double day of the highest level with the finals of the Australian Open 2025, the first Grand Slam of the year. With outstanding players in both categories, expectations are sky-high.

On Saturday 25, the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who will try to defend her crown against the American Madison Keys, will face off in the women's category; and on Sunday 26, the men's final will also feature a defending champion, the Italian Jannik Sinner against the German Alexander Zverev, the two first in the ATP ranking, which promises a high-voltage match.

Women's Final: Sabalenka Defends Crown

Date: Saturday, January 25.

Time: 3:30 a.m. ET.

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, reigning champion and world No. 1, will seek to retain her title in a tough battle against American Madison Keys. In the semifinals, Sabalenka showed her dominance by beating Spain's Paula Badosa 6-4, 6-2, while Keys, in a marathon duel, overcame Poland's Iga Świątek 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (8).

With five previous meetings between the two, Sabalenka has the advantage with four wins, while Keys has only one victory in this head-to-head. The last duel between them was at the Beijing Open 2024, where the Belarusian won comfortably 6-4, 6-3.

Men's Final: Sinner Seeks Repeat Success Against Zverev

Date: Sunday, January 26.

Time: 3:30 a.m. ET.

Italy's Jannik Sinner, world number 1 and current champion, will face Germany's Alexander Zverev, who has had a great performance in this tournament, in the men's final. Sinner comes after defeating American Ben Shelton by 7-6 (2), 6-2, 6-2, while Zverev left Serbian Novak Djokovic (7th) on the road with a score of 7-6 (5) and abandonment of the rival due to a muscle tear.

The record between the two players favors Zverev, who has won four of their six previous meetings. However, Sinner prevailed in their last clash, in the semifinals of the Cincinnati Masters 1000 2024, 7-6 (9), 5-7, 7-6 (4).

Predictions: Who Will Win the Title?

The Italian Sinner starts as favorite with a -286 odds against his rival Alexander Zverev's +224.

In exact sets, we have 3 with a quota of +157, 4 with +165 and 5 with +230.

Remember that lines are dynamic and can change constantly.
