The eight teams that will be in the Champions League Round of 16 have been defined.

|

After last week's matches, in the following days we will know the eight clubs that will complete the Round of 16 stage of the most important club tournament in the world.

The previous week's matches left practically all options open, with the exception of perhaps the PSG and Borussia Dortmund play-offs. If we take that into account, we are talking that there are six keys with many possibilities of changing the outcome of the first leg, and that is why we consider it prudent to guide you for the games to be held between February 18 and 19.

The midweek matchday will start with half of the fixtures, including Feyenoord's visit to Milan and Monaco's trip to face Benfica, both very open series after last Wednesday's match. As for Wednesday, the duel between PSV and Juventus is an interesting alternative, but all eyes will be on the Santiago Bernabeu, where Real Madrid and Manchester City add another episode to the modern classic of the Champions League.

In addition to following the teams, this round of the Champions League in a way forces to follow the performance of some players who have been trending in the last week. Among them we can mention two players from Italian clubs such as Santiago Giménez (Milan) and Francisco Conceicao (Juventus). Both gave victory to their respective clubs in Serie A last weekend, so their contribution in their matches will be fundamental to help the institutions where they earn their salaries.

Other players who are expected to be in action are Kylian Mbappé and Harry Kane. Real Madrid's French striker will be looking to hit the back of the net again, while the English striker is hoping to recover from injury to be present for the game against Celtic in Munich.

Here is this week's UEFA Champions League schedule:

UEFA Champions League - What do clubs need to win their place in the Round of 16?

Tuesday, February 18

Milan vs Feyenoord - After the first leg, a draw or a win is enough for the Dutch to advance to the next round. Milan will need to win by two goals to avoid elimination. A 1-0 win for the Rossoneri would send the game into extra time.

Bayern vs Celtic - The Bavarians would qualify by drawing the game or winning the match, while Celtic needs two goals to qualify. A 1-0 win for the Scots would send the tie into extra time.

Benfica vs Monaco - The visitors require a two-goal win to advance to the next round, while a draw would be enough for the Portuguese Eagles. A one-goal win for Monaco would send the game into extra time.

Atalanta vs Club Brugge - The Bergamo club must win by two to reach the final round, while a draw or a win is enough for the Belgians. As in the other series, a narrow win for Atalanta sends the series into extra time.

Wednesday, February 19

Borussia Dortmund vs Sporting - The runner-up got a good result in the first leg, as a draw or a win puts them on the other side. The yellow-and-black team could afford to lose by two goals and still advance to the Round of 16. Sporting, on the other hand, needs a four-goal win to hope to stay alive in the tournament, while a three-goal win would send the series to extra time.

PSG vs Brest - Same case as in the previous game: PSG qualifies with a draw, win, or even losing by two goals. Meanwhile, Brest need to score four times without reply to reach the Round of 16, and if they manage to score three without reply, they will send the match into extra time.

Juventus vs PSV - The bianconeri would get into the next round with a win or a draw. On the other side, PSV needs to win by two goals to qualify. If the game ends in a one-goal win for PSV, the series goes to extra time.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City - As in the previous series, Real Madrid would qualify with a win or a draw, while Guardiola's team needs to win by two to eliminate Los Merengues. A narrow win for City sends the series into extra time.

Forecast

Milan vs Feyenoord - The Rossoneri are favorites for this game at -249, while Feyenoord comes out as underdogs at +652.

Bayern vs Celtic - The German club is a big favorite with a line of -595, leaving the Glasgow team with odds of +1350.

Benfica vs Monaco - For this key we have a special proposition, as Benfica comes out as favorite to advance with -709, while Monaco counts on line of +460 to pass the round according to this proposition.

Atalanta vs Club Brugge - Atalanta comes out with a line in favor of -183, leaving the Belgian club with +470. The draw would pay +360.

Borussia Dortmund vs Sporting - The German team has odds of -105 to win the game, leaving Sporting with a line of +275.

PSG vs Brest - The line for this game has PSG as favorite with -521, leaving the visiting Brest with +1250, which gives ample options to the locals to advance to the Round of 16.

PSV vs Juventus - The line in this match is in favor of the locals, who have +127 to +205 for the bianconeri.

Real Madrid vs Manchester City - In this duel, we have a special proposition to the one who goes through to the Round of 16, not to the one who wins the game. In that sense, Madrid has a line of -573, while Manchester City comes out as a possible victim with +392.
