The Boston Celtics continue to consolidate their position as one of the most solid teams of the season after winning their sixth consecutive victory. On this occasion, they beat the Toronto Raptors 111-101 in a duel where control of the game and effectiveness from the perimeter played a key role. Jaylen Brown led the offense with 24 points, while Derrick White and Payton Pritchard also had outstanding performances.
Boston's Dominance From The Start
From the first quarter, the Celtics imposed their style of play, managing the pace and taking advantage of Toronto's deficiencies in outside shooting. Boston was aggressive on offense, moving the ball well and finding open shots, while the Raptors had trouble executing their offenses with fluidity.
The Canadian team, coming off a great exhibition in three-pointers in their last win against Phoenix, failed to repeat the same efficiency. They missed their first 11 attempts from the perimeter and failed to score a three-pointer until well into the second quarter.
This lack of success from long distance allowed the Celtics to take a comfortable lead in the first half, led by the offensive contributions of Brown and White. Boston is definitely a team that does not waste any opportunity.
White, Pritchard & Brown Make the Difference
Derrick White was a key player in the Celtics' victory, scoring 22 points and being a constant threat from the three-point line. His accuracy was so outstanding that he made more three-pointers alone than the entire Raptors team, reflecting the difference in performance from the perimeter.
For his part, Payton Pritchard contributed 20 points coming off the bench, compensating for the absence of key players such as Kristaps Porzingis, Jrue Holiday and Al Horford. His energy and ability to score at key moments were decisive for Boston to keep control of the scoreboard.
In addition to his offensive production, Jayson Tatum also played an important role as a game facilitator, adding 11 assists and demonstrating his ability to generate opportunities for his teammates.

Raptors Attempt Unsuccessful Rebound And Boston Remains Firmly in the Conference
Despite the deficit, Toronto did not give up and had some moments of hope in the fourth quarter. Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett tried to lead a comeback with their aggressiveness at the rim, bringing their team within seven points with less than five minutes to play. Jamal Shead also had a brief impact with a pair of consecutive baskets that ignited the home crowd.
However, just when it looked like the Raptors might make the game close, the Celtics responded in force. Jayson Tatum made his presence felt with a steal and a score in transition, while White punished again with another triple that finished burying Toronto's hopes.
With this win, the Celtics improve their away record to 24-6, proving that they can win on any court. Despite the loss of some starters, the team has shown depth in its roster and a well-defined game identity, which keeps them as serious contenders in the Eastern Conference.
For Toronto, the loss represents their seventh defeat in the last nine games. The lack of effectiveness from the perimeter continues to be a concern, as they only managed to make five three-pointers in the entire game. If they want to turn their situation around, they will need to improve in that aspect and find more consistency in their game.
Boston will have little time to celebrate as their next game is against the Detroit Pistons, while the Raptors will look to bounce back when they visit the Indiana Pacers in their next game.
